Women In REsearch Development - WIRED '07 is a established program housed in the Computer Science Department of Lamar University. The goal of this program is to increase the number of females receiving baccalaureate degrees in Computer Science and Computer Information Science. The WIRED '07 Program serves as an umbrella for several programs designed to enhance both recruiting and retention of female computer science students. Professor Peggy Doerschuk is the founder and director of the WIRED Program. Dr. Doerschuk has led students in research in artificial intelligence and robotics for over fifteen years. She has published 35 papers on artificial intelligence, robotics, education, and research and mentoring programs for undergraduates. Resume -Dr. Doerschuk
