Crystal Wettingfeld was the coordinator for the workshop. We hosted two 45 minute sessions with Lego’s NXT Robots. We had 6 members participate: Iris Garcia, Valerie Juarez, Rafael Romero, Daniel Vincent, Crystal Wettingfeld, and Cynthia Willis.
There were a lot of kids that attended Sally Ride. We constantly had numerous kids come up and want to see robot demos or try to program the robots. It was a lot of fun. For the robotics session, we had around 20 kids come to each session and we taught them to make the NXT dance. At the end of the session, all the robots were put together and danced to a song.
